Valerie Falls is currently certified under the UL 2854 – (2010) Standard for Sustainability for Renewable Low-Impact Electricity Products. In managing our portfolio, we collaborated with EGOLOGO^® to certify this hydropower facility and 21 others. The ECOLOGO^® Program certifies the energy we generate as a Renewable Low-Impact Electricity Product, a credible, environmentally preferable choice for organizations and communities looking to purchase power sustainably. This transparent and collaborative program is based on the International Standards Organization ISO 14024 for ecolabels and considers a facility’s impact throughout its lifetime.
